Our partners help us hand-pick the most promising young talents
The Archery Foundation has built partnerships with several partners in order to identify the candidates to the Archery Fellowship.
Our partnerships are based on a strong alignment of values:
- Commitment to equal opportunities
- Caring for the young people we accompany
- Seeing the Laureates achieve their ambitions
- Long-term commitment
For the identification and pre-selection of candidates, the Archery Foundation has established partnerships with more than thirty schools in Paris 18th, Saint-Denis, Sarcelles, and Marseille.
- Each year, a first phase of identifying potential candidates for the Archery Foundation's jury is conducted by the Archery Foundation teams in collaboration with school principals and teaching staff. This work begins in the early weeks of the 9th-grade school year and concludes with the results of the first trimester. Once identified, the students are brought to meet with the Foundation's Sourcing Manager.
- Subsequently, a meeting with the parents is organized to ensure that they support the candidate's application and will accept the support program offered by the Foundation.
- The confirmed candidates are then brought to present themselves before a City Jury, which includes the General Delegate of the Foundation, as well as a representative from the City and another from the education authority (rectorat).
- For the young people selected after this City Jury, a second phase then opens up, during which they come together for collective activities and workshops to prepare for the Archery Foundation's Jury, which takes place every year in June.
The Laureates become part of the support program provided by the Archery Foundation, in which several partners are involved as content providers.
